Landing page

Landing page is any page calling the user to do something. For instance, to subscribe for the distribution, to buy a ticket to the conference, to ask for the estimate or simply to copy the presentation

In contrast to a site the landing page offers the user to do only one thing. For instance, different people look through the company site. Somebody only wants to know the information about the company, the others to read about the goods. But only those who are interested in vacancies will look through this concrete page. If such page is made up according to concrete rules and contains the proposition (e.g. to respond to a vacancy), this page may be regarded as a landing page too

Such pages are made for a particular audience. They may be effectively used in advertisements and in this case it is necessary to concentrate yourself on something concrete, e.g. sale, information, invitation to prescribe for a distribution etc.
